Welwyn Harmony are a woman’s a cappella singing chorus, performing a range of popular songs, including songs from the musicals, in a distinctive four part harmony, and of course without any form of instrumentation.

Bushin Mixed Martial Arts

Bushin Mixed Martial Arts is an all-round effective martial art system. Based on classical roots the display you will see is a contemporary one. We incorporate many two-man drills, pad work and sparring. Emphasis is on building self- defence and confidence where, “every journey begins with a single step…”

Chiltern West Gallery Quire are a group of twenty-five singers, accompanied by five instrumentalists to provide a distinctive sound for traditional psalms, hymns, anthems and carols. They perform regularly at local events and special occasions.

Following her success in Britain’s Got Talent, Immi has prominently performed at a wide variety of venues including; busking in London landmarks, headlining at festivals, singing at the Accession of King Charles, and especially taking pride entertaining at local events, charity occasions, and in care homes.

Tells the story from the beginning of Welwyn Garden City. Opens in the Howard Centre on the 2nd-16th July 10am-4pm. (In the former Clinton Cards Unit)

The Howard Bowmen

All equipment will be provided. They will guide you though shooting a dozen arrows at their targets and start you on your archery journey.

Local artist, Molly Chambers, will be hosting a large scale drawing project – ‘Draw Your Community’. Come along to express your thoughts, memories and feelings about Welwyn Garden City. All of which will contribute to a diverse, mobile, paper-mural. It’s free, open to all ages and will be guided with plenty of prompts from Molly. You may even go home with a little freebie too!

The Rotary Club of Welwyn Garden City Young Artist Competition

Free participation for young people of all ages. Budding creative talents are encouraged to look out for the opportunity to commit their best efforts with paints, crayons, charcoal or felt-tips in search of their Best in Age Award. Under-6s, 7s-12s and 13-16s will be judged on the images they create on the theme of: “Wonderful Welwyn Garden City – what it means to me” Prizes awarded.
