This event is about our whole community. It requires a lot of work to create an occasion that will be enjoyed safely and remembered.
To enable this to happen we need some more helpers on the day, for 2-3 hours so you can choose a time that suits your busy calendar. Full training + support will be provided.
Can you give us some of your time to help the day be a success?
We will need helpers for;
- Friendly marshalls/guides to make sure people get the guidance they need, help set-up, welcome visitors with a smiling face, support stallholders, guide performers from the Green room to the stage, keep areas safe and clear.
- You’ll be a key role in helping this event be delivered safely, ensuring exhibitors and stallholders get a helping hand to set up / take down so they can share their activities with the people of Welwyn Garden City.
- You can also be part of making sure the performance stage works for the acts, escorting them to the stage or keeping an eye front of house.
- A few slots remain to help at the heritage exhibition. You’ll be a friendly face, someone for people to share memories with and keep an eye on safety in the shop. You could also lend a hand on our sales desk, for those that want to.
